Holiday Outfit #11

Dress - H&M, jacket - H&M

Little dress #2. The South of France was way too hot to wear a jacket, I almost melted just slipping it on for these photos! This dress is so sweet and perfect just to slip on any summer day!

ps. sorry for the quick post! I'm in a rush to go to town (to shop... as usual!)

Holiday Outfit #10

dress - Zara, hat - H&M

I love maxi's and I'm so glad that the midi craze didn't completely overpower the maxi trend (even though I do love a good midi) because I find that I can breath more in maxi dresses which aren't body con! I absolutely love this dress from Zara and the fact that to be honest without the detailing at the top, it's just the standard maxi dress with a twist (it's halter neck, which I love...I've not seen any other maxi dresses like this!). But the detailing is really what brought this dress to my attention. The tribal tasselling and beading at the top is perfect, I was never really into the whole aztec or tribal trend to be honest but this isn't too over the top and so I tried it on. I ended up buying it khaki and black!

I think the colour khaki is really growing on me!

Holiday Outfit #7 x military

top - Topshop, skirt - H&M, hat - Calvin Klein, shoes - unknown

Just realised how much I wore this top on holiday! Sorry for the repetition but I packed the morning of flying (such a stupid thing to do when you're a fashion blogger and simply want to take all your clothes with you!). You might also have noticed the lack of shoe variation - unfortunately due to the same error. I could only fit 1 pair in my case after packing so many clothes and with 50 seconds to spare until the taxi came I couldn't risk missing my flight for shoes (boo hoo)

Short but sweet post as I'm in a hurry!!! I love the hole details on the side of this skirt, gives a very military feel (except maybe a soldier wouldn't wear my Calvin Klein khaki hat).

Holiday Outfit #6

Add caption

top - Topshop, trousers - Sue Ryder, sandals - unknown, hat - H&M

If you read my blog you'll have seen these trousers before but worn in the cold climate of England and I'm so happy that I've been able to style them differently to be worn in the warmth too. The quite vibrant colours and pattern means it's easiest to team with plain tops like this white crop top from Topshop, especially to draw attention to the trousers - which would be the focus of my outfit. But if you like the print clashing trend, you could pair the trousers with a printed top!
I also absolutely love the pleats at the front of the trousers! It's the little details that do it for me...

If you follow my instagram (@gracemellor) you will see that I've had a sudden craze of hats (I never take off my fedora) so when I saw this hat in H&M it was an instant buy! I think everyone should have one of these classic timeless hats in their wardrobe for their summer holidays!!

Anyone else having a hat craze at the moment?

Holiday Outfit #5 x block colours

top - Zara, jacket - H&M, trousers - Mango, shoes - unknown

As I said in my last post I love wearing bright colours on holiday simply because I never/hardly wear them at home.. I'd much rather stick to the classic BLACK. However, here I am blocking colours like there's no tomorrow. I absolutely love this top, I bought it last year from Zara in the sale for £7! Bargain. And it fits right in with the current athletic trend because it kinda resembles a basketball tee to me (just add a number on the back and you're sorted). It's also perfect for summer because the holes make it so cool so even in this heat wave, you can wear it with out melting! This was obviously an evening outfit though because otherwise I would have melted, especially in the trousers and jacket!

Holiday Outfit #2

This is another one of my holiday outfits, but this is from the evening's as it was FAR too hot during the day time to wear trousers (I'm not complaining though - I was thankful to get a little bit of sun, even if there was a heat wave in England at the same time!)

I absolutely love these trousers! I bought them from H&M just before my holiday. They remind me a little of pyjama pants (I love this trend, which can be seen in Zara, because it's so damn comfy!) because they're casual and can just be slipped into, they've turned into my 'in-doubt' trousers. I love the colour of them because I'm a huge fan of dark clothes but they liven up my mainly black wardrobe and the pattern is quite delicate in a way. I'd probably wear them completely different at home but considering I was in a country where if I wore anything else I'd melt, I just paired them with my topshop crop top and plain white sandals, keeping the focus of my outfit on my gorgeous new trousers.

Have any of you tried the Zara pyjama trousers? I bought them on sale but the cut didn't suit me :(
