In Tortola we did what we do best. Went to a beach, relaxed, drank rum punch, ate beautiful and delicious local food, sunbathed and swam. There's a strict no bargaining rule in Tortola as all of the cabs are the exact same and go/come from the same place so everyone has the same flat rate... knowing my family though, we got a reasonably good deal! We were encouraged to go to a beach along with the whole of the other people on the cruise but my family really didn't like that idea, preferring a quiet stay at Tortola so we opted for a more local, less known but equally amazing beach. The sand was white, the sea was a beautiful turquoise and there was Rum... what more could you want!?
