Although Marni introduced the flower market, the collection began with a different approach. The collection began with raw colours of beige, cream and taupe before transitioning into the bright yellow, green, red, orange and blue hues, which resembled a flower garden somewhat more, emphasised by the oversized floral prints, black floral embellishment, abstract floral prints and clashing floral prints.
The collection featured asymmetrical hems on tops as well as skirts, kimono-style belts clinching in the waist of a few of the garments, oversized tops and slouchy trousers which elongate the silhouette, and the beautifully cut oversized coats which sported amazing floral prints in vibrant and exotic colours.
