Finding a nice spot on the boat to take these pictures was a nightmare so unfortunately you're going to have to deal with these (even though there are deck chairs and shadows - sorry!) This is the outfit I wore on the first evening in the Caribbean, in Barbados. It wasn't exactly cool on an evening but the temperature died down enough so that I could wear my new wide leg trousers from Miss Guided! I had wanted the 'Naomi's from Reiss for ages but I could never afford them at full price and so I opted for this similar but cheaper version. When I tried them on, I loved them so much I bought them in black too instead of the more expensive version that I lust over from Reiss too called 'Michelle'. I want to do a really classy all white outfit with these trousers! 

I'm absolutely loving wide leg trousers at the moment - there's something classy and effortless about it. There's even an article on Vogue about wide leg vs skinny and how wide leg is currently triumphant! 

I loved the colour of this top and whilst I have about 20 turtle necks, I had never seen one in this colour before so I instantly bought it. I think it goes really nicely with the two colours I wear the most - black and white and it's a pop of colour in my otherwise monochrome wardrobe.
