Amsterdam Day 1

This was Harry and I's first day in Amsterdam. It was relatively warm so it got a little too hot with all my layers on whilst walking around but I'm the kind of person who would prefer to be boiling to death than frozen, so I couldn't complain too much. I opted for a simple jumper dress and over the knee boots, à la Kendell Jenner (although I loved this combo before she did it anyway) and my fedora to top off the outfit. I then began the layering so I wouldn't be cold haha. I feel like a leather jacket is always a good idea to stash under any coat if it is too cold because if you need to take your coat off you can, and your outfit can still look killer. Just adds a little bit of warmth, honestly this lil' trick saved me in Amsterdam and Berlin, and even my friends took to doing it in Berlin too! 

Since it was our first day in Amsterdam and it was Harry's first time visiting Amsterdam full stop, we decided to dedicate the day to wandering around and just taking in the city and all the lovely streets and the fantastic architecture. We began by wandering the canals, then we went to the Doors coffee  shop (because Harry is obsessed with Jim Morrison) and then we went to the Body Exhibition, something I had wanted to see for ages (Harry wasn't too happy though, he thought it was all gross haha). We then returned to the main square and had dinner before returning to our hotel. It was a great day.
